Swati Mytreya is a singer who has made her mark in the Telugu (film) playback industry. Popularly Known as the “Singer Swati”, she has lent her voice to a few telugu films such as Bramhastram, Nenunnaanu, Shivamani, Sriramadasu, etc,.

Born in Hyderabad, Swati Mytreya, with her melodious voice, has built a formidable reputation as a playback singer for Telugu films. She has to her credit, over 500 stage performances.

She entered the world of singing at the age of 5, under the guidance of her mother Sunita, From her young age she learned the basics in music from her mother. Swati Mytreya performed her Arrangetrum at the age of 10 in February 1991.

Swati Mytreya got a chance in the small screen to host a musical based program when Yuvasamrat ‘NAGARJUNA’ recommended her to Gemini Television. Her first attempt was for the program 'PAADAMANI NANNADAGAVLENA’ and from then on there was no looking back. Her expressive melodious voice and her disciplined way of hosting got her plenty of offers and she was soon making a mark in Telugu television channels to the extent that she has today monopolized Telugu TV channels in her own way. Swati Mytreya has almost worked for all Telugu TV channels like Gemini, Teja, Maa, Local tv, Vissa, ZeeTelugu, Etv, Etv2, Bhakti tv, Vanita, Sanskriti and Ntv from 2001 and sung several tracks for M.M.Kreem.

She has won the Several Award for the best singer Competitions. Won the 1st prize at School level among 54 Schools in 1995. Inter Collge Awards, Delhi Telugu Academy Award for the Best Singer in 2003. Best VJ Award from Aaradhana Awards and Yuva Awards. Best stage performance in Santosham Awards, shared the mic with one of the great Indian Musicians ‘M.M.Kreem’. Swati Mytreya had received Best compliments from the King Megastar ‘Chiranjeevi’ and Kalathapasvi ‘K. Vishwanath’. Swati’s talent caught by all News papers such as Eenadu, Vaartha, Andhrajyothi, Hindu, Times Of India, Deccan Chronicle and Andhraprabha(magazine). This immensely talented singer anchor continues to impress her numerous fans with her sweet voice. Born on November 24, 1981, in Hyderabad,, Swati’s talent was recognized and nurtured from an early age by her mother. She was also her first guru (teacher). Swati Mytreya received her extensive training in Carnatic music from Thyagaraya college of Music. She did her schooling from St.Andrews, intermediate from Sri Chaitanya, graduation in commerce from Vidyabharathi and post graduation from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
